JBS Couros is once again present at the largest and most important international trade show of the leather market, Asia Pacific Leather Fair (APFL Leather & Material). At this edition, held in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates between March 30th and April 1st, the company will showcase on its stands furniture produced from Kind Leather and items of its different brands, including Conceria Priante. One of the highlights will be the product range developed using sustainable technology.

Before the APLF kicks off, the Sustainability manager of JBS Couros, Kim Sena, will take part in a chat organized in partnership with the specialized magazine ILM, to discuss the impacts of sustainable production on the leather value chain. This pre-event on March 29th will deal with new technologies for data gathering and Life Cycle Assessments – LCAs. The company recently undertook other 36 LCAs that reiterated the sustainability of Kind Leather.

“Besides strengthening the philosophy message of Kind Leather, of transforming waste into raw materials in line with the concept of a circular economy, we have the opportunity to show our current and future clients that innovation is possible, creating more possibilities for using our product based on sustainable production logic, as well as offering the international market a product whose environmental footprint has been scientifically evaluated. We are taking advantage of the opportunity to share what we have learned with everyone in the industry, fostering a collaborative environment from which the planet only stands to gain”, asserts Sena.
