JBS commences exports to Cambodia and the Dominican Republic

With the opening of these additional markets, the Company’s products now serve over 150 countries around the world

JBS has commenced exporting to the markets of Cambodia and the Dominican Republic, which have begun to take delivery of pork and poultry protein through its subsidiary, Seara.

In the case of Cambodia, the Company has just dispatched the first shipment of raw pork meat intended for the cities of Sihanoukville and Phnom Penh. The Asian country is becoming an important client, and JBS intends to maintain regular business and is looking into partnerships with the retail sector to send product mixes.

In the case of the Dominican Republic, the Company this month approved around 14 plants producing chicken protein in seven states and the Federal District, and has shipped the first exports. The country is a tourism destination with huge potential for higher consumption in the post-pandemic future.

With the opening of these new markets, JBS has now exceeded the mark of exports to over 150 countries worldwide.
