The British band, Coldplay, will use (renewable and clean) biodiesel provided by JBS Biodiesel in all the power generators used at the shows on the “Music of the Spheres” tour. The band starts its marathon of shows across Brazil on March, 10th, in São Paulo. The Morumbi stadium in SP alone will host six shows.

This will lead to a reduction of up to 80% in CO2 emissions by the equipment provided by AirCam, the official lessor of the tour that uses 100% equipment manufactured by BRG Geradores. The band’s shows are scheduled for São Paulo, Rio and Curitiba from March 10th to 28th.

Each show will consume around 30,000 liters of biofuel. The generators used in the Morumbi stadium (SP) and the Nilton Santos – Engenhão stadium (Rio) will be supplied with biofuel produced at the JBS Biodiesel plant in Lins (SP). Those in the Couto Pereira stadium in Curitiba will be supplied by the Mafra (SC) unit.
