JBS was present at Gulfood 2023, in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. The event took place between February 20th and 24th and attracted more than 4,000 companies from 120 countries. The company showcased its portfolio targeted at the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) markets.

The MENA region is currently one of the leading importers of Brazilian beef and one of the priority markets for JBS. By taking part in the trade show, the company and its brands aim to build closer relationships with partners, close new commercial deals and discuss new strategies for selling and launching products.

At the 2023 edition of Gulfood, Seara showcased its complete portfolio of products produced at two local plants, bearing in mind the importance of Middle Eastern culture and cuisine. The portfolio includes the Shawaya product line (marinated frozen whole chickens) with local flavors. Launched at Gulfood last year for exclusive sale in the region, the product line also offers unseasoned pre-marinated frozen Whole Tender Chickens that offer enhanced succulence and flavor.

Seara’s extensive portfolio showcased at Gulfood also includes breaded chicken products, chicken and beef hamburgers, sausages, meat balls, frozen vegetables, fish, and frozen fruits, among other products.

As for Friboi, it promoted its 1953 Friboi and Black Friboi premium lines in the region. The 1953 Friboi product line includes beef cuts whose raw materials originate from European breeds and selected farms, thus guaranteeing superior tenderness and succulence. Black Friboi, in turn, is the result of the genetic enhancement of Black Angus in the USA, guaranteeing beef with a high level of marbling and succulence, carefully produced on the Fazenda Floresta farm and traceable from origin. In addition to the raw products, Friboi introduced its portfolio of prepared food brands – Anglo, Exeter, the benchmark in the African markets, and Bordon, a brand with a high level of penetration in the Halal market.

The unique 290-m² JBS stand at Gulfood 2023 also showcased other products of the Pilgrim’s, AMH, Novaprom, Rigamonti and Swift portfolios, accompanied by representatives of other JBS units in the United States, Canada, Europe and Australia.
