JBS and Flora donate 14,000 hygiene kits and food baskets to flood victims in Bahia

To assist the victims of the floods affecting Bahia, JBS, under its social responsibility program Fazer o Bem Faz Bem – Alimentando o Mundo com Solidariedade (Doing Good Does Good – Feeding the World with Solidarity), has begun distributing 14,000 kits of food and hygiene products to the populations in the municipalities of Amargosa, Itapetinga and the southern region of the state. 

Of the total kits, seven thousand are hygiene problems, in partnership with Flora Cosméticos e Limpeza, owner of the Minuano brand, which belongs to the same group as JBS. In all, there are 42,000 personal hygiene and cleaning items, such as detergents, disinfectants, bars of soap, shampoos, conditions and gel alcohol. The other seven thousand kits are food baskets, each with 14 types of food products.
