JBS creates openings for trainees in five states of Brazil

JBS has opened applications for the 2021 edition of the “Jovens de Valor” Trainee Program. There are 15 opportunities for professionals who graduated between December 2016 and December 2020 in the management, accounting sciences, economic sciences, engineering and veterinary medicine areas to work at Swift, JBS Couros and JBS Novos Negócios. Applications will be received until May 7, and candidates must be willing to move to the cities where the companies operate, because the vacancies are on-site.
Swift has four vacancies at the plant in Andradina (SP) in the maintenance, production, planning and control (PCP) and production areas. In the case of JBS Couros, there are opportunities for 1 vacancy each at the plants in Cascavel (CE), Itumbiara (GO), Lins (SP), Montenegro (RS) and Uberlândia (MG) in the commercial and industrial areas. JBS Novos Negócios has openings in Lins (SP) – 3 vacancies –, and 1 vacancy each at Campo Verde (MT), São Paulo (SP) and Presidente Epitácio (SP) in the PCP, maintenance, production, projects, research & development and administrative areas.
Over the 12-month period the trainees will embark on a training cycle consisting of job rotation, project development and shared supervision, and will be challenged to develop their leadership skills. At the end of the program, the professionals who meet the requisites will be offered strategic positions in the business.
The Human Resources Officer of JBS, Wanderson Costa, explains that the aim of the program is to create leaders who embrace the Company’s culture to work at units throughout Brazil. “JBS is a global company, so there are huge opportunities for growth. Through the program we aim to build future leaders that can help the company become increasingly better and more competitive”, he says.
